A person needs an average of 1.5 litres of fluid per day, more if it’s a hot day. 1.5 litres is about ten glasses or cups of e.g. water, coffee, tea, milk, broth and soup. If you drink too little, you may start feeling weak and won’t be able to concentrate as well as normal.
